Property Purchase Estimated Costs

Do you know how much do you need to pay when you purchase a property besides from the normal 10% down payment of the property price?

The cost that needs to be made into consideration consists of

1) Sales and Purchase Agreement charges
2) Bank Loan Agreement charges
3) Memorandum of Transfer charges

Below is the example of the above charges for purchasing a property worth RM 600, 000 and apply for a RM540, 000 loans without the Mortgage Reducing Term Assurance (MRTA).

Hence, besides from the 10% percent down payment of the property price, do not neglect the legal fees, bank loan related fees and the Memorandum of Transfer fees.
